In reading Jerry Falwells webpage, I found an article linking Marilyn Manson to school shootings. I know this has been said quite a bit, but it is really getting irritating. How can we say that Mansons music made these kids like this? Is it that MM makes kids depressed or is it that depressed kids find his music fitting. When I am happy, I don't throw on my Taking Back Sunday CD, I put it in when I'm down. When I'm down, I don't throw in my Jason Mraz CD. It just doesn't fit.
Honestly, by these standards, we should be linking John Mayer CD sales to the amount of premarital sex in America. I mean, if we look for correlations, we will find them.
