This is the first day of my life...

This weekend was odd. I missed Stace. She was in SoCal for a bachlorette party.. woohoo! I stayed here and worked. So, Sunday, mothers day, I get up early. I have a few things on my agenda. I am going to clean Staceys car out right after I write my mom a thank you letter. As I walk out to my car from my apartment, I notice a broken window on my car. I also notice the neighbors are moving, so I just assume that they accidentally knocked it out. Then I get closer and see that that was not the case. My CD player and my CD's are gone. No big deal, I mean, yeah, that sucks, but oh well... then I remember... I've been playing at open mics lately and my guitar was in my backseat... was....

So, know I am a musician with out music. I singer without a song. My Taylor... gone. I'm a little sad about it. I mean, I feel so violated. And it was a little bit expensive... and to replace it.. dang.

If you have an extra Taylor... send it my way...

And apparently Jeff, a musician and singer without 3rd grade grammar. ;)

Remember this - our luck is worse than most, but we always seem to get out of a bind in some crazy way. Things will definetly work out in the end...somehow. Stay up bro.

happened very similarly to me about five years ago or so. busted window, nothing missing, cellphone still laying on the seat. but wait - where's my backpack? all my cds, journals, books - what was most me - was gone. insurance paid $$, but never fully recovered what was lost, did i? but we move on. good stuff.

What do you do when someone gets hurt? said...

My condolances, Jeff.
