So I'm listening to the new Deathcab album and I've got to say... amazing.. It's really making me think about love. Ben Gibbard has such perfect ways of talking about love.
"And I knew that you were a truth I would rather lose
Than to have never lain beside at all"
How true.. It made me think about Stacey and I. This long distance thing, however short it may be, sucks. I'm tired of being alone without her. I hung out with Cody last night, but all I could think of was missing Stacey. Call me lame... I don't care.. But love really is watching someone die... And I love that I get the rest of my life with Stacey. And someday, we will watch each other die... and it will be sad, but at the same time, beautiful. What a way to end life, together, with the one you love.
I know I'm rambling, but Stacey means the world to me. And to quote Gibbard once more... Stacey "if heaven and hell decide that they both are satisfied and illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs...if there's no one beside you when your soul embarks... I'll follow you into the dark."
Stacey, you really are my favorite time of day. When I see you, I feel like I just woke up from some terrible dream to see the truth... that life is wonderful. Life truly is better with you by my side. Even when you are by my side 450 miles away. You are still my love. No distance could separate that. Stace, if you still don't get it, I love you. Yes, I love you. I love you, I love you, I love you. I could type it out and say it a million times over, but it won't lessen the truth... I.... Love.... You....(period)
Peace and Love.... (especially to Stacey)
