You started crying, I started crying...

I should be sleeping. Last night, Stacey, Cody, and myself drove 7 hours from Oceanside to Sacramento. Then Cody and I departed for the second half of our trip back to Oregon. We got in about 7:30 this morning. But we had fun. We discovered some of our favorite songs! Ben Lee is amazing. Check him out. Also, Ryan Sharps venture, The Cobalt Season...Incredible. He has some moving and challenging songs. I'll post some links when it is available. I would recommend everyone who can breathe buy it. Then sing along.

Well, I started this post backwards. The reason we were in LA area you ask? We went to our dear friends wedding. Jasen and Amanda Ashdown... Congratulations! This was the most awe inspiring wedding I've ever been to. Jay and Amanda were both so excited. It was obvious that this was the best day of both of their lives! When Jasen started crying... I was drawn to tears myself. Then I had to get up and sing while choked up. I've only known both of them for a total of 2 years, but they are both the kind of people who make you feel like you are a lifelong friend. I love them for that. I want to be like them! They have joy together. Happiness sometimes fails us, but the joy they possess is unending. I know they will be together forever. Someday, they will be greeted in heaven with Ice Cream Sandwiches.

Jasen:Thanks for taking me under your wing. Growing me. Teaching me. Loving on me. I needed an outside friend to help me with so many life changing decisions, and you were there for me. Thank you.

Amanda: You are incredible. Thank you for also helping me realize things about myself. Helping me grow and learn to be who I am. You have been there to talk with and help both myself and Stacey when we were in the dark on our future. Thank you!

Both of you, may God bless these vows you have taken. May He deeply bless you with a rich life. Not money, but a deeper richness only found in Him. I pray for you both in every step of your life. I love you both!
